Vehicle Crime - City West


Over the last week we have taken reports of a number theft from motor vehicle on the City West area where the vehicles have either been insecure or windows have been smashed in order to secure entry and property stolen from within.

One vehicle attacked on Allendale Avenue between 22.00 Hours 18/03/2024 And 01.30 Hours 19/03/2024.

Another vehicle was entered on Allendale Avenue between 18:00 18/03/2024 and 06:30 19/03/2024.

Another vehicle was entered on Hanslope Crescent sometime between 18/03/2024 and 13:00 19/03/2024.

Another vehicle was entered on Edge Way, Strelley sometime on 20/03/2024.

Another vehicle was entered on Tenbury Crescent between 21:30 18/03/2024 and 08:50 19/03/2024.

The City West area has also experienced several theft of motorbikes over the last few days.

On Prestwick Close a motorcycle was stolen sometime on 20/03/2024.

On Radford Bridge Road between 16:30 20/03/2024 and 04:30 21/03/2024 a motorcycle was stolen.

On Cranwell Road, Strelley at about 02:20 on 23/03/2024 there was an attempt to steal moped from the location.

 

The City West Neighbourhood Policing team have however arrested and charged a suspect on 23/03/2024 for a number of offences relating to vehicle crime on the City West area and continue to conduct investigations into other identified suspects.

 

Please ensure that if you leave your vehicle unattended that it is locked and report any person you see acting suspiciously around vehicles and ensure that there are no valuables on show. If a crime is in progress, then please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 999.
