May 2022 Leen beat area update


Hello residents,

I am writing to let you know about crime in the Leen Police Beat area during May 2022.

 

We have had no reports of Burglary 

 

We have had 3 offences of Criminal Damage 

Midland Way – damage to vehicle, bonnet keyed.

Norwood Road – ground floor kitchen window smashed by thrown brick.

Alfreton Road – damage to cash point machine, marks engraved.

 

We have had 4 reports for theft of/from vehicle 

Ilkeston Road – bag and shoes stolen from car.

St Peters Street – transit van stolen.

Dulwich Road – money stolen from car.

Forster Street – clothes, documents, purse and mobile device stolen from car.

 

We have had no reports for Robbery

 

We have had 1 report for theft of bicycle/scooter on Denman Street Central.   

 

We have had no report of shed/garage break.

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK YOUR VEHICLES AND REMOVE ITEMS FROM WITHIN
