On Monday 01st August 2022 officers from the Mansfield South Neighbourhood Police Team carried out a speed gun operation on Lindhurst Lane and Bellamy Road, Mansfield. These roads were targeted due to numerous complaints from local residents regarding speeding vehicles.

On Lindhurst Lane, one driver was reported for excess speed, and two drivers were stopped and advised regarding their speed. 

On Bellamy road, two drivers were reported for excess speed, and one driver was stopped and advised regarding their speed.

Further work with the speed gun will be carried out in the local area in the future.
