Alert message sent 10/01/2018 13:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Dear Residents

Unfortunately as we go into this new year, we are receiving more and more reports of motorbikes, mopeds and bicycles being stolen.
Please ensure that if you own any of the above, that they are locked away and secured with the appropriate security devices. You can also have your bicycles security marked by contacting your local beat officers.

On Sunday 14th January 2018 between 2pm and 4pm, members of Bulwell Beat team will be in Bulwell Town centre security marking bicycles. If you would like this doing please pop along and see them. If this is successful then they will look at another date to have tools and large garden equipment done.

If you require any security advice in regards to making your property, shed, garage, vehicle or bike more secure, you can find information on the Nottinghamshire Police website

https://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/advice/prevention or alternatively contact a member of your local policing beat team who will be happy to help.

Wishing you all a very happy and safe 2018.
