Crime Report for Ashfield South week to 7 March 2019

Crimes reported for Hucknall and the Rural Villages over the past seven days.

 Burglary Dwelling
Sometime during the two weeks prior to the 2 March in Charles Street, Hucknall a house was broken into via the back door. Not known if anything was stolen.
Between 6pm on Tuesday 26 and 3.40pm Thursday 28 February in Cherry Avenue, Hucknall a house was entered by forcing a window and a TV was stolen.
Between 9.30am and 10.50am on Thursday 28 February in Farleys Lane, Hucknall a house was entered via a patio door and some alcohol was stolen.
Burglary Other
Between 9.30pm on Friday 1 and 7am Saturday 2 March in Rise Hill. Annesley Woodhouse a shed was broken into but nothing was stolen.
Between 9.20pm on Tuesday 5 and 5.30am Wednesday 6 March at the Co-op Nottingham Road, Selston there was an attempt to break in. No entry gained.
Soon after midnight on Thursday 28 February a commercial property in Willow Drive, Sherwood Industrial Estate, Annesley was entered but the offender was disturbed and made off.
Between 8pm on Thursday 28 February and 11.15am Friday 1 March in Station Road, Selston a shed was broken into and a white Taiwan Golden Bee Quad Bike was stolen
Theft of motor vehicle
 At around 10am on Wednesday 6 March in Coronation Road, Hucknall a silver Vauxhall Zafera was stolen from the roadside, it was later recovered.
Theft from motor vehicle
None reported during this period.
At 11.30 on Friday 1 March in High Street, Hucknall a man was withdrawing money from a cash point when another man reached over him and snatched the money and a wallet he then ran off along High Street.
Please always be very careful when at a cash point and try to be aware of anyone coming close to you.
At around 10am on Tuesday 5 March in Orchard Street, Hucknall a handbag was snatched from a lady by a tall male wearing a checked jacket and red hood.
At 1.47pm on Tuesday 5 March in Brook Street, Hucknall a handbag was snatched from a lady by a white male wearing jeans and a red and blue checked jacket, he was accompanied by a white male in late 20’s wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.
At 8.15am on 19 February in Rawson Street, Selston four car seats and a power reel were stolen from a garden.
Between 8am and 2pm on Friday 1 March in the main hall of the John Godber Centre, Ogle Street, Hucknall a handbag was stolen from a shopping trolley.
Overnight of the 27 and 28 February in Rockwood Crescent, Hucknall a mobility scooter and a washing machine were stolen from a garden.
