Crime Report Hucknall and the Rural Villages for week to Thursday 21 March 2019

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling
None reported.

Burglary Other
Sometime before 9.30am on Wednesday 20 March at the Allotments off Beauvale Road, Hucknall, the gates to several allotment gardens were forced and sheds broken into.  We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.

Between 6.00pm on Monday 18 March and 10.00am on Tuesday 19 March in Palmerstone Street, Westwood, an insecure shed was entered and a Mountfield lawnmower stolen.

Theft of motor vehicle
Between 7.30am and 9.00pm on Thursday 14 March in Nottingham Road, Selston, a Ford Cougar Titanium car was stolen from a driveway.

Theft from motor vehicle
At around midday on Saturday16 March in Daniels Way, Hucknall, 200 litres of diesel, machine handsets, and three 240v batteries were stolen from road repair plant parked at roadside.

At around 5.10pm on Tuesday 19 March on Merlin Park, Hucknall, a16 year old male was approached by a group of five teenage males who assaulted him and stole his metal push scooter, (Black with a metal skull on the front and no hand grips).

Between 10.30 pm and 11.10pm on Thursday 14 March in Elm Avenue, Hucknall, an orange coloured Kymco Maxi mobility scooter was stolen from outside the front door of a property.

Around 7.15pm on Tuesday19 March outside the Co-op in Watnall Road, Hucknall, a red Carrera push bike with white wheels inscribed with green and black wording was stolen.

Criminal Damage
Overnight Thursday 14 to Friday 15 March in Farm Avenue, Westville, white paint was thrown over a black MG car and the driver’s window smashed.

Overnight Thursday 14 to Friday 15 March in Brookfield Avenue, Hucknall, a conservatory window was smashed.

At 8.10pm on Thursday 14 March in Albert Street, Hucknall, the front window of a house was smashed.
Between 11.00am on Sunday 17 March and 8.45am on Monday 18 March in Alexander Avenue, Selston, the tyre of a van parked at the roadside, was slashed.
