Crime report for Ashfield South week to 11 April 2019

Crimes reported for Hucknall and the Rural Villages over the past seven days.


Burglary Dwelling

At about 11am on Monday 1 April in Acacia Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse there was an attempt to break into a property via a kitchen window. The offender was a white male, slim to average build, 5’8” tall wearing a black hoodie, jeans, black and white trainers; he was carrying a yellow bag and an Adidas bag.


Burglary Other



Theft of motor vehicle

Between 9.30pm on Thursday 4 and 6.20am Friday 5 April in Ruffs Drive, Hucknall a white Ford Transit was stolen from the roadside. It was later found in Watnall.


Theft from motor vehicle

Between 3.34am on Friday 5 and 11am Sunday 7 April in Salterford Road, Hucknall the petrol cap was removed from a blue Ford Focus.


Between 11.30pm on Saturday 6 April in Little Oak Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse a silver Ford Transit was broken into and a blue Makita bag containing Makita tools, batteries, drill kit, blades and a pin gun were stolen.


At around 1.15pm on Sunday 7 April in Magdalene Way, Hucknall a white Ford Transit was entered and a combi drill, an SDH drill, door planer, grinder, electric testing kit and two cordless drills were stolen.


At about 4.40 am on Sunday 7 April in Dabek Rise, Annesley Woodhouse a white Ford Transit was broken into and two nail guns, motor bike parts and kits for bikes were stolen. The offender was a slim white male 6’0” wearing dark clothing and a blue baseball cap.


Criminal Damage

Between 9pm on Friday 5 and 9am Saturday 6 April in New Westwood, Westwood the rear window of a black Peugeot 308 was smashed.


Between 7.30pm on Saturday 6 and 7am Sunday 7 April in Stonechurch View, Annesley the wing mirror was snapped off from a Toyota Aygo
