Crime report Ashfield South week to 9 May 2019

Crimes reported for Hucknall and the Rural Villages over the past seven days.

 Burglary Dwelling
Between 1.30pm and 2.45pm on Friday 3 May in Felley Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse a door handle was broken in an attempted burglary.

Between 1am and 7.45am on Thursday 2 May in Moor Road, Papplewick a garage was broken into and 3 bikes and some tools were stolen some of which were later recovered.

 Burglary Other
Between 11.30pm on Wednesday 1 and 12.15pm Monday 6 May the Rolls Royce Sports Club Room, Watnall Road, Hucknall was broken into. Nothing was stolen but some damage was caused.

Theft of motor vehicle
None reported

Theft from motor vehicle
At 3.50am on Monday 6 May in Christchurch Road, Hucknall a Vauxhall Astra was broken into and a purse and bank cards were stolen. A white male with a grey beard and wearing a grey hoodie top and black tracksuit trousers was disturbed who then made off.

Between 11.30am and 2pm on Wednesday 8 May near Portland Park Lodge, Wood Lane, Hucknall the number plates on a blue Vauxhall Astra parked outside the property were stolen.

Around 1am on Tuesday 30 April in Smeath Road, Underwood an attempt was made to steal lead from the bay window of a property.

Around 12.25pm on Friday 3 May in Valentine Avenue, Selston two car batteries were stolen from a back garden believed to be by scrap dealers.

Criminal Damage
Between 5pm on Wednesday 1 May and 7am Thursday 2 May a window was smashed at the
wine bar/cafe Central Walk, Hucknall.

Between 11.45pm on Wednesday 1 and 7.30am Thursday 2 May in Lawns Road, Annesley Woodhouse paintwork on a car was badly scratched whilst parked on a driveway.

Between 9.30pm on Wednesday 4 and 10am Thursday 5 May in Wollaton Street, Hucknall a black Ford Focus parked at the roadside was sprayed with silvery gold paint.
