Crime Report Hucknall & the Rural Villages for week to Thursday 27 June 2019

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling
Between 1.00am and 10.00am on Thursday 20 June in Ruffs Drive, Hucknall, a Bank Card and Mobile Phone were stolen from possibly insecure premises.  The card was subsequently used.

Burglary Other
Between 6.00pm on Saturday 22 June and 1.00pm on Sunday 23 June in Coronation Road, Hucknall, a garage was broken into by cutting the padlock.  A blue and white Suzuki DRZ 400 motorbike was stolen.

Between 8.15pm on Sunday 23 June and 8.30am on Monday 24 June in Barbara Square, Hucknall, a Kona Blast Deluxe Mountain Bike with black frame, red and black Sunroyal saddle, was stolen from an insecure shed.

Theft of motor vehicle
None reported.

Theft from motor vehicle
Between 10.00am and 2.15 pm on Sunday 24 June in Croft Avenue, Hucknall, a hammer drill and spirit level were stolen from a VW Passat by breaking the rear window.

At around 3.20pm on Thursday 20 June in Portland Road, Hucknall, a mobile phone was stolen from a Ford Transit van through an insecure window.

Between 5.10pm and 5.35pm on Thursday 20 June in the Tesco Extra car park, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, the rear number plate was stolen from a black Porche.

Theft/ Robbery
Around 5.33pm on Friday 21 June in Sherwood Street, Hucknall, a lady was approached by a white male, slim build, height around 5’ 10” , in a grey hoodie and grey trousers.  He had a piercing in his lip or it could have been a gold tooth.  He asked the lady for the time and then snatched a gold chain from around her neck and made off.

At 2.40pm on Saturday 22 June in Saint Patricks Road, Hucknall, the owner of a silver coloured Ford Transit van which had a black bonnet, when threatened by a male with a knife handed over the keys to the van.  The male made off with the van towards the Hucknall By-pass heading towards Bulwell.  The offender was a white male, age 27/30 yrs. Brown hair and wearing a white shirt.

Criminal Damage
Between 10.00pm on Sunday 23 June and 5.55am on Monday 24 June in Wilde Crescent, Selston, a brick was thrown through the living room window of a property.
Overnight Saturday22/Sunday23 June in Abbots Walk, Hucknall, the two driver’s side tyres of a purple Citroen C3 car were slashed.
