Crimes reported over the past 7 days, 12:00 noon on the 10th August 2021 and 12:00 Noon on the 17th August 2021.

Theft other

Lead has been stolen from a window at a property on Clipstone Road East. The incident happened sometime in the last week. There is no CCTV available.


Theft other

A Samsung S20 was stolen from an outside table at the Foxglove pub between the hours of 2000-2030 on 13/08/2021. The phone was tracked and the whereabouts is currently being investigated.


Burglary dwelling

A property on Corporation Street has been broken into between 13/08/2021 and 15/08/2021. It appears the locks had been tampered with to gain entry. An android tablet, £50 in cash and a phone were stolen.

Burglary other than dwelling

Between 09/08/2021 and 1700 hours on the 14/08/2021, entry was gained to a garden shed on Harrington Street. The padlock was snapped off and broken. A Carrera Valour mountain bike in blue was stolen.


Theft of motor vehicle

Between 1730 hours on the 12/08/2021 and 0700 hours on the 13/08/2021, a building site on Water Lane in Pleasley was broken into. Once inside, offenders have stolen a Bomag 80 roller in orange. There is CCTV in the area and is currently being tracked.


Theft from motor vehicle

Between 2330 hours on the 16/08/2021 and 0800 hours on the 17/08/2021, a vehicle was entered whilst parked on Princes Street in Mansfield. A set of keys has been stolen.



A female was walking home alone at approximately 0930 hours on the 13/08/2021 when a male approached her from behind, grabbed her handbag from her shoulder and pushed her to the floor. The male then fled from the scene near Tideswell Court. The black male was approximately 6ft tall, wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans.

We received a report of a further robbery that has occurred on Sandy Lane on the 16/08/2021 at approximately 1155 hours. The male was walking across a nearby field when he was punched from behind, then knocked unconscious. When he came to, he noticed a gold bracelet had been ripped off his wrist.


Theft other

A man was drawing cash from an ATM machine on Church Street at approximately 1125 hours on the 13/08/2021, when a male approached him and stole the cash. The male offender is described as, white, slim build, approximately 5ft 11” tall, wearing a baseball cap, blue top and navy tracksuit bottoms. CCTV has been viewed within the bank and a possible positive identification was obtained.
A Motorola G10 android phone was stolen from a bench outside the Railway Inn on Station Street at approximately 12 noon on the 12/08/2021. The phone has been traced to a local household.


Theft from motor vehicle

Between 1500 hours and 1600 hours on the 11/08/2021, a scooter was stolen from a front garden on Sycamore Street in Church Warsop. The male offender, captured on CCTV is described as aged approximately 13 years, white with blonde hair. The boy was wearing a green top, green and yellow trainers, a black hoodie and black bottoms.

Theft from motor vehicle

At approximately 2330 hours on the 13/08/2021, a male offender tried to break into a works van whilst parked on West Street in Warsop Vale. It is believed the male tried to use a hand tool to gain access but failed. We have no description of the offender apart from he was wearing a blue baseball cap.
