Burglary Dwelling - 1

 

Mornington Crescent 09/07/2018 -

 

Caller reported that someone had broken into their home sometime between 1155 and 1255 hours with entry made by smashing the rear patio glass door. The house alarm was sounding when the caller returned to the property. The offenders had been upstairs and looked through the callers jewelery box. This was close to the junction with Willesden Green.  

 

Theft From Motor Vehicle -  1

 

Highbury Close 08/07/2018 -

 

Caller reported at 0130 hours that five males had just attempted to steal their car. The caller banged on their window and the males all ran off from the drive way leave all of the car doors open. The caller got up and noticed the outside light come on. The males all wore dark clothing with their faces completely covered. The caller heard a tapping and saw them at the side of the house and then they heard further tapping and then saw all of the car doors open.

 

At around 0200 hours a male was seen to run from officers on Woodfield Road, Broxtowe. The male was stopped and searched and he had on his person a balaclava and two pairs of gloves. The male was arrested for theft from motor vehicle and going equipped to steal.

Burglary Other - 1

 

Main Street 10/07/2018 -

 

Caller reported that a number of tools had been removed and stolen after a container that had been left secure had been broken into. This happened sometime between 1700 hours on the 08/07/2018 and 0800 hours on the 09/07/2018. The suspects broke the master lock off the container and this was the third time that this had happened in four weeks. Power tools, a welder and saws had been removed and stolen.
