Crime Report Hucknall and the Rural Villages for week to Thursday 16 May 2019

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling
Between 5.00am and 10.00am on Thursday 9 May in Moor Road, Bestwood Village, a hand bag was stolen and car keys used to steal a Silver Nissan Qashqai from the driveway.

Burglary Other
At 4.48am on Saturday 11 May at The Badger Box Public House, Derby Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, an outside walk-in freezer was broken into and food stolen. The offender was male, around 5-8” with his face covered by a pale balaclava and wearing a black jacket.  He was carrying a blue bag for life.

Between 12 noon on 28 April and 8.00am on Sunday 12 May in Smeath Road, Underwood, a shed was broken into and two strimmers, a jet wash and an electric drill were stolen.

Theft of motor vehicle
None reported.

Theft from motor vehicle
None reported.

Between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Monday 13 May in Ogle Street, Hucknall, two mountain style bikes secured in the alleyway to the property were stolen.  One, a child’s with 18” wheels and a white frame with black and pink writing; the second, a ladies with a black frame and purple writing.  A shed was also searched.

Criminal Damage
At around 11.55 on Tuesday 14 May in the Hucknall Tram car park, Baths Lane, the rear window of a Citroen Berlingo 600 van was smashed by a male in black clothing with his hood up and possibly riding a black and red pushbike.

Between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Tuesday 14 May in Beardall Street, Hucknall, paint was thrown over a grey VW Golf, parked at the roadside, and a wing mirror was also broken off.

Around 11.00pm on Friday 10 May at Fulton Foods, 60 – 62 High Street, Hucknall, a white male with short mousey brown hair, a moustache and beard, wearing a black top and grey track suite bottoms was seen smashing the shop window.

Between 10.05am and 6.45pm on Monday 13 May in Plumb Road, Hucknall, the driver’s side window was damaged and the windscreen chipped on a blue VW Caddy.

Between 9.00pm on Tuesday 14 May and 7.30am on Wednesday 15 May in Bentinck Street, Annesley Woodhouse, the front driver’s side windscreen of a white Ford Transit van was smashed with a brick.

Between 12 noon on Tuesday 14 May and 9.00am on Wednesday 15 May in Florence Street, Hucknall, the driver’s side wing mirror was broken off a red Toyota Igo.  Plastic trim on the vehicle was also damaged
