Alert message sent 05/10/2021 16:28:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

West Bridgford Neighbourhood staff and Rushcliffe Borough Council will be holding bike marking events on:
Saturday 9th October 2021 from 10am until 12 noon at the front of Rushcliffe Arena, Compton Acres, West Bridgford.
Saturday 13th November 2021 from 10am until 12 noon at the Hook car park off Holme Road, Lady Bay, West Bridgford.
Your bike will be marked up using Bike Register’s anti-pick stickers with bar codes on which is the new way of marking up your bikes and tracking them across the country.
There are two stickers per bike, one underneath hidden and one on show to show a visible deterrent as bike thieves do know these are traceable.
Bicycles thefts from sheds are on the increase at this time of the year, so please come down and get your bike marked up for extra security.
There also will be a LIMITED number of D-Locks to be given away in exchange for your old lock

We look forward to seeing you!
(**You must be a Rushcliffe resident or have local connection to Bridgford to be eligible**)
